Perfect location to explore the fjords with Pulpit rock and Kjerag in Lysefjorden, and a lot of other hiking and walking opportunities. In Ålgård Centre is located the shopping center Norwegian Outlet and the amusement park Kongeparken. Explore Stavanger or lovely beaches 25 minutes away. Winter: Ski resorts in the mountains 1 hour away with car. Pets: only dogs are allowed due to allergy in host family.

Slapp av på idylliske Idse. Utsikten her er magisk. Å avslutte dagen på terassen med fyr i bålpannen og å sitte i jacuzzien med utsikt utover fjorden er virkelig herlig. Hytta er moderne og bra utstyrt. God plass til 7 gjester. Kort vei til Preikestolen, Lysefjorden og Stavanger. Sokn Gard is located on an operating farm on the island Sokn, a 15 minutes drive from Stavanger, near Utstein Monastery. Sokn Gard is an ideal base to relax and explore the wonderful area of the Norwegian west coast. Day trip to Pulpit Rock or Kjerag possible.
