Kalamoti is one of the medieval "Mastica" villages in the southern part of Chios. It is small, quiet and friendly, and has everything you need (small supermarkets, cafes and tavernas), and is close to one of the best beaches in Chios. The house is restored according to the old plans, spacious and rustic. Balcony and roof terrace add space. Fully equiped kitchen (gass oven top) and microwave, toaster, large dining table. Floor fans. The care taker is Tania. She will be next door in daytime.

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στο χωριό Αρμόλια,το οποίο ανήκει στα Μαστιχοχώρια της Χιου.Τα σπίτια είναι πέτρινα ,παραδοσιακά και χτισμένα το ένα πολύ κοντά στο άλλο.Το χωριό είναι γνωστό για τα πήλινα αγγεία που εδώ και αιώνες δημιουργούν οι κάτοικοι του.Περίπου στα 100 μέτρα από το σπίτι υπάρχει σούπερ μάρκετ,ζαχαροπλαστείο,καφενείο,ψητοπωλείο,παραδοσιακή ταβέρνα,2 πρατήρια καυσίμων,φαρμακείο και κέντρο υγείας, ενώ πολύ κοντά βρίσκονται οι ωραιότερες παραλίες της νότιας Χίου(Κώμη,Μαύρα Βόλια,...)

Το σπίτι βρίσκεται στην δυτική παραλία της Κώμης στην Νότια Χίο, απέχει μόλις 10 μέτρα από την θάλασσα σε πολύ ήσυχη γειτονιά και διαθέτει χώρο στάθμευσης. This 170 s.m., masonry wall, double-storey house was originaly constructed at 1859 and is a typical example of early neoclassical architecture, infused with local traditional elements such as the pebbled yard and the traditional terrace. According to a new ministerial decision, the residents of the house are obliged to pay a "Climate Crisis Resilience Fee" of 15 Euros per day. The total cost will be collected by the owner who will pay it to the tax office.
