The waterfront is the Vanaja waterway extending from Hämeenlinna to Tampere (length about 80 km ). Nearby, 7 km (10 min) is the famous Aulanko Nature Preserve. This national monument houses a golf-course and spa. One of the main tourist attractions of southern Finland, is the Medieval Hame castle, constructed in the 13th century. It is 12 km (15 minutes) from the venue.

My place is an atmospheric old vintage cottage on top of a scenic ridge. You can hang out in your own yard with a patio and a barbecue canopy. Kitchen, living room, and indoor toilet. The outbuilding has a wood sauna with a shower room, there is no separate bathroom. The sauna chamber has 2 beds for 1 person. Running hot water and drains. Heating with air source heat pumps + a furnace in the winter. Refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and mini stove with oven. Pets are welcome.

Cozy and modern sauna cottage by the lake in Hämeenlinna. The cottage has a kitchen-living room with comfortable sleeping places for 2-3 people. The best part of our summer paradise is the big sauna, with a window to the evening sun. There is a composting toilet in the outbuilding. The cottage has hot water and underfloor heating. You can jump from the dock for a swim, depth about 2m. Bring your own bedding and towels.

Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
