Enjoy seasonal fruit picking, BBQ, or pizza oven (request in advance). Access: JR Gobo Station (9 min by car or 18 min by bus) and parking for 3–5 cars. Perfect base for Koyasan (2 h) and Kumano Kodo – Takijiri Oji (1 h 30). I’m a certified Kumano Kodo guide and can share tips or guided walks. Great for families or groups seeking a rural getaway.

当コテージは清流、円原川のほとりにあります。 岐阜といえば白川郷や飛騨高山が有名ですが、円原も山奥で不便な場所ではありますが素敵です。 山と川の景観が美しく、猿や鹿が出没するような自然豊かな場所です。 円原川は日本一美しい伏流水、光芒の名所として注目されており、宿は伏流水の湧き水ポイントから８００ｍ程の場所に位置していますので水の透明度は抜群です。 光芒も宿から見ることが出来ます。 夏の朝、気象条件により木々の間から太陽の光が降り注ぐ幻想的な景色を見られます。 円原川の水は冷たいですが、夏に子供たちは元気に川遊びしています。 河原は気温が随分下がるので、猛暑を逃れ涼む人も。 少し下流にいくと川遊びスポットがいくつかあり、どこも水が透き通っていて美しく泳ぐのが気持ち良いです。 川の水は少し深いところではエメラルドグリーンに輝き、岩と苔の景観も素晴らしく、心が浄化されるような癒しスポットです。 宿の2階に川に面したデッキがあるので、川を眺めながらBBQしたり、川のせせらぎを聴きながらハンモックに揺られたり、テントサウナでリフレッシュしたり日常を忘れてのんびりできます。

"Kaze no Niwa"/retreat/Japanese traditional house

This is a traditional Japanese house built in the countryside of Iga, the home of the ninja. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

Oriya is a private lodge that is limited to one group per day. Outside the window, beautiful and calm sea and lush mountain scenery spreads out. Not only the scenery, but also the town itself is charming. Also it’s close to world heritage of “Kumanokodo”. It is possible to come to this place by public transportation.
