Beautiful countryside Artist house

It takes 3 hours from Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. You can see a totally different aspect of the city side of Japan. Green mountains, clear river, Firefly, many stars, rice field, Vegetable field. The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

Sanson Terrace "Silk Barn"

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】King Villa

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

Tida House (Hand-made strawbale house!) ティダハウス

We are at country site surrounded by potato fields. You can stay at self-builded straw bale house. We have two singl beds, and very simple cooking facilities, toaster, microwave oven and a refrigerator. Tida House is good for remote work! You can watch movies by Netflix. 130-year-old traditional Kominka 『燕と土と』

This 130-year-old farmhouse, lovingly renovated by the host, is offered as a private stay. Inside, guests can admire heavy wooden beams, an open view of the countryside, a nostalgic irori hearth, and a cozy wood stove. Outside awaits a traditional goemon-buro bath. Enjoy the slow rhythm of rural life—cook with local ingredients in the kitchen or over the hearth, harvest seasonal vegetables, and relax on the deck while taking in the peaceful satoyama scenery.

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on Sunday.(Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

It is a 10-minute drive from Osaka Namba Station to Hashimoto station 50 minutes by Nankai kouya line. I will pick you up. Portable WI-FI is available. One booth lies comfortably in tatami and you can feel at ease. We also have a simple sauna room.
