The kitchen is equipped to cook your own simple meals (but not oven/microwave). The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable and simple stay. The apartment has views to the valley, a private terrace with amazing views and an independent entrance. You can also use the common areas and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

A very bright and comfortable accommodation, decorated with a mural and marine paintings, works by the owner of the accommodation. You can breathe in absolute peace. The house is surrounded by a 200m² private garden with a secure lock, ideal for staying and enjoying with your dog. Surrounded by green meadows, it is located 1 km from the center of Ribadeo (10 minutes walk) 8 km from Las Catedrales beach, 50 m from the Northern Route of Santiago and 50 m away you can see its beautiful Ría.

This fabulous watermill stood empty and abandoned until it was recently fully restored and converted into a beautiful, comfortable home. Enjoy listening to the quiet rustling of the river while you drift off to sleep.
