The Gatehouse is part of the Palacio de Hualle, a 17th Century manor estate. It is a pretty and very confortable house, full of light and with views of the green fields with grazing horses. With a big living-dining room, a lovely outdoor eating area and two bedrooms , it is perfect for a family of four. In Hualle, a tiny rural hamlet, yet in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only a fifteen minute drive to villages of Comillas and Santillana or to beaches of Oyambre and Gerra.

Our 59m2 cottage is located in Canales (Udías), a small town of less than 100 inhabitants located 260 meters above sea level. It is a semi-detached house with a large terrace offering spectacular views of both Comillas and Oyambre beach. About the area: A few min drive from Cabezón de la sal and San Vicente de la Barquera. Comillas at about 5,7km Redwood forest 5 min away Cantabrian coast at 10 min It is the ideal place for days at the beach or on a mountain route :)

Its location is perfect both to enjoy Mogro beach (just 300m away) and to visit Cantabria, Bilbao, Gijón or Oviedo.

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.
