Our newly renovated studio apartment in the basement is located in the southernmost district of Freiburg at the foot of the local mountain “Schauinsland.” You can reach this in just 20 minutes by car or you can take the Schauinslandbahn (Germany's longest aerial cable car), which is only 5 minutes away by car. Freiburg city center can be reached by tram (final stop only a 5-minute walk away) within 10 minutes. Hiking and mountain bike lovers can start their tours from the house.

Our residential area is nestled on the first hills of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, just a 10-minute drive from the cable car station to the Schauinsland. The Markgräflerland and Alsace are just a stone's throw away from here, Basel and Strasbourg day trips.

Imagine spending the night right in the vineyard, among the vines. You can watch the sunrise over the Black Forest and the sunset over the Kaiserstuhl massif, while enjoying a glass of wine in the queen-size bed by the window or on the terrace. The 45m² apartment consists of a living room, a new and well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bedroom as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. The cozy, newly renovated attic apartment is located on the 2nd floor. The house is right on the stream. From the balcony you can see meadows, garden, stream and Black Forest mountains. Münstertal offers many opportunities for hiking on the Belchen or Schauinsland mountains.Hiking trails right at your doorstep. Mountain biking is popular in the Black Forest. Ski lifts can be reached in less than 30 minutes.
