Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

Either bedded on fragrant organic hay in the bed nook, - in the shepherd's room with two rustic cozy beds on an organic oat straw mattress, - or on the open and airy gallery, our "Ewerbude" on normal mattresses - you will spend a very original night! 'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Sheikh House, a single house in the beautiful volcanic region of Vogelsberg. In the past, the farmhouse consisted of a dwelling house, a stable and the barn. We both worked in tourism and managed a holiday village for a long time. When we retired, we decided: This is not possible without guests! We have always dreamed of remodeling the old barn of our house – and now was just the right time.

Loft Apartment in historic countryside Farmhouse

We are renting a beautiful 70 square meter loft apartment in an historic farm house in Wiesbaden, Delkenheim. The apartment is over 3 levels and has a new kitchen, oak floors, spiral staircase and many historic details. The house was built around 1800 and is part of a historical farm with barn and other buildings. The apartment has been renovated in early 2017. Delkenheim has good transportation connections but remains quiet.

A spacious interior is presented from an elevated perspective, showcasing wooden beams and bright sunlight filtering through windows. A cozy seating area features a large couch, a small table, and a vibrant rug, complemented by a hammock and various decorative elements throughout the room.

Modern living in the historic cowshed (Apartment No. 2)

In 2018, we completed four 1-room apartments, each with its own kitchenette and its own bathroom. The apartment no. 2 is about 30 square meters and is equipped with 2 box spring beds, oversized duvets, fully equipped new kitchenette, wardrobe, TV, radio, 2 armchairs and bathroom with shower and toilet. A Nespresso machine is available for a good start to the day. Of course there is free Wi-Fi and a car parking space.

Where to sing, settle down, bad people have no songs (Johann Gottfried Seume) Previously an old barn, today a cozy, extraordinary guest house with lots of music in the old walls! They occupy the entire villa over 2 floors. On the mezzanine, the large living room, where the old barn beams are still visible, dominates. At the same time kitchen, dining area, cozy Lümmelplatz with sofas, piano, smart TV and balcony.
