Editing your Passport

The Host Passport, which may be shown for Rooms Hosts, helps the Airbnb community get to know you and gives you an opportunity to share what makes staying with you special. It can help develop connections between Hosts and guests while establishing trust on our platform.

It’s also a way for you as a Rooms Host to share additional details about yourself, including fun facts, your favorite song in high school, the number of years you’ve hosted, or the languages you speak. With a tap on your photo, guests can access your Passport directly in search results to learn more about who they’re staying with.

On your Passport, we show information about you, which comes from your profile. You can see what information is shown automatically by Airbnb and what you can update, add, or remove on your profile.

How we show optional information on your Passport

If you add information to your profile, we may choose which information is displayed on your Passport.

For example, we may display a mix of things about you - like what languages you speak - as well as what you do for your guests. What is displayed to others - like prospective guests - on your Passport may also differ.

Editing your profile

You can edit your public profile by visiting this link. These edits will also update what may be shown on your Passport.
