Our spacious and beautifully restored medieval house and large private garden is within the walls of the serene and picturesque heritage-listed village of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, where the film "Chocolat" was filmed. From here you can explore wineries, beautiful villages and peaceful countryside, chateaux, abbayes and museums. You can even hop on the train to Paris or explore the towns of Dijon or Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. The house has a beautiful character and ambiance. It is suited for couples and families.

Stunning views across the Auxois countryside from both house and garden. Very comfortable double bedroom with private entrance & ensuite bathroom in a sleepy hamlet. The heated garden kitchen can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden & deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views; off road parking. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Linens provided (sheets, towels, etc.). This old farmhouse, renovated while keeping the attributes of a 19th century farmhouse, has the comforts of the 20th century. An attached garage.

The house is an old tower built on 3 levels. The lower level is the double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet, it has french doors that open out onto the lower decking terrace. The middle level is the kitchen, dining sitting area with wood burning stove and flat screen tv and there is an oak staircase that leads to the upper twin bedroom with seperate toilet and basin. The House opposite: a cozy guesthouse

My house is the ideal place to rest and to enjoy historical Burgundy . Nested in a green and peaceful countryside, this independent guest house has a bedroom, a bathroom, a large kitchen downstairs and a second bedroom and a playroom upstairs. The kitchen being very large, I put 2 armchairs so you can enjoy the fire or watch TV. My house is perfect as well if you are on a professional trip in the area.
