Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

You will spend your vacation in our apartment renovated in 2021 on the 7th floor (elevator available) of a former hotel. Through the panoramic window you have a magnificent view of the mountains and the climatic health resort of Bad Grund. The apartment has a built-in kitchen, a dining area, a modern bathroom with large shower, as well as a cozy solid wood double bed with cotton bed linens. On the balcony you sit between herbs (to harvest yourself) & flowers on teak furniture.

The homelike studio at "Das Kutscherhäuschen" features wooden floors, solid wood furniture and soft lighting. It has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area and a terrace. The kitchenette is well-equipped for preparing home-cooked meals. Alternatively, several restaurants and cafés can be found within a 10-minute walk. A toilet and shower (with hot water, of course!) are available in the sanitary area on the premises. A sauna with a wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also available to all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to see nearby.

Bungalow between the sound of the forest and the chirping of birds: the ideal place to escape from everyday life. In 2020, as a family project, we renovated the bungalow with natural materials. Minimalist design between Scandi Chic and built-in forest. Hiking in the Harz Mountains or relaxing on the sofa - our accommodation fulfills all vacation wishes.

Living in the countryside

Our 42 m² apartment is located in the attic of our house. It is very bright and friendly. A bedroom, a living room with dining area and cozy couch, a kitchen and a bathroom with tub, toilet and washing area are available. There is also a roof terrace in front of the living room. You can enjoy nature in peace on this. TV and free Wi-Fi are provided.
