House in beautiful Laxviken in Jämtland, 80 km northwest of Östersund. The house is on a small farm with grazing cows around the corner. In the summer, you can swim in crystal clear water at the swimming jetty just near the house, or take a nice walk along the lake. Proximity to excellent fishing waters, mountains, berry and mushroom forests. In the neighboring village of Laxsjö, there is a grocery store that is praised for its nice service and selection. Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. Move into the old school cafeteria where the church's students ate their school lunch in the 1940s and 1950s. The wood stove that crackles in the kitchen is the same one the lunch lady cooked lunch on. She herself lived on the upper floor and we offer her kitchen with adjacent bedroom and bathroom. Quiet and peaceful in the old timber building. Outside, you can enjoy mountain views or visit Frösön's beautiful church, which is next to the rectory where the host couple live with their dogs and cats.

Relax, dive into the lake or why not put on cross-country skis outside the door in the winter? When Storsjön roars, you can light the fire & look out through the panoramic windows & enjoy Oviksfjällen on the horizon. Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. Living a somewhat simple life for a while without having to give up all the comforts, for that matter. Letting go of everyday worries, putting your phone away, and allowing yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, boil coffee and cook over an open fire. The bed will be made up when you arrive. A warm welcome!

Proximity to a lake and to Hårkan, a river, Known as one of the best fishing rivers in Sweden. Seven minutes to Ica shop that is open 24/7, charging posts. Lits camping is 14 minutes away. There is a beach, playground and canoe rental. The property has a double bed, a sofa bed, and a bunk bed. A total of 6 sleeping places. If you need bed linens, let the host know.

"Välkommen" in our cozy log cabin! The several hundred year old house on two floors is located with a great view of the south beach of our Fyrsjön. There is a double bed on the ground floor and up to 4 people can sleep comfortably under the sloping roof on the upper floor. The flair of the old beams, the view from the window of the lake, canoe and our new BARREL SAUNA (included) make your stay perfect! Kitchen, shower and toilet are 20 meters away in the "grannys house", which all guests share!

Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

Stuga Björn - Quiet cabin at lake Edesjön

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. The small house is quietly situated in the forests of Jämtland. There is a paved path on the property for a walk. You can also find a jetty to the lake with a scenic beach for taking a bath in the summer or for cross country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing in the winter. Extensive hikes or bike tours are also possible here. There are many great things to discover in the surrounding nature. We have a boat, SUP Boards and a fishing set to rent.
