Valasay Cottage - the one across the footbridge

Valasay Cottage is where you want to stay. Cross the footbridge to a place of tranquility. It's not completely quiet, because the tidal Tòb Bhalasaigh means there is the sound of rushing water, and the garden is full of birds and bumblebees. Red-throated divers often call while flying over and cuckoos might make themselves heard. But that's about all you can hear.
