It is a hill village very typical of the region with a supermarket, bakery, post office, small chemist, church, school and typical doctors consulting rooms. There is even a regular fresh fish delivery service. Motril, the nearest big town with its grand choice of supermarkets, general stores, car showrooms, boutiques, etc, is only 17 Kmts away over the hills. The International Airports of Málaga and Almería are oscillates 1 1/2 hrs drive away.
