Our vacation home is located in a small village in the beautiful Waldviertel highlands, approx. 1.5 hours by car from Vienna. In the surrounding area, there are extensive meadows and forests. The lovingly designed stone house offers modern comfort and a cozy ambiance. In the region there is a lot to discover all year round. The place is great for couples, families and small groups. Our old, former farmhouse is located in Burgschleinitz, a pretty village with a medieval moated castle, Romanesque church, Gothic ossuary and lots of nature between the forest and wine district near Eggenburg. Bicycles, e-bikes, canoes, kayaks, fireplace, grill, sand playground, table tennis and sauna. And Josephsbrot, perhaps the best bakery in Austria with a cafe. We look forward to it! Family-friendly house close to the center

Welcome to Zwettl! We, Rosi and Hermann, are very happy to welcome you to our beautiful Waldviertel. We rent a family-friendly, detached house close to the center with its own kitchen, living room, dining room, three bedrooms, a large bathroom in the basement and a balcony. Many toys, stuffed animals and board games await our little guests. We hope you have a nice stay with us!

Our chats

Our cottage is located in a semi-secluded forest by the Stropnice River. Although it may not look like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they are not visible from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the terrace. There is no wifi in the cottage, so enjoy the time spent together.

Pond cottage with kitchenette, dining area and wet cell on the ground floor, also spacious covered terrace, barbecue area and play tower available. In the attic is the sleeping area with its own toilet. From the roof terrace, you have a magnificent view over the 2 connected fish ponds. Parking spaces for cars, tents or campers are available.

Relax in this special and quiet cabin-style home. Unique sauna with views of the mountains. The Kernalm is located in one of the most wooded areas in Upper Austria at 1000m above sea level. Here you can also enjoy the feel-good climate in summer. Top location only 1 km to the nearest place with supermarket, village shop and inn.

The 25 square meters include an anteroom, the main room, and a bathroom. Main room: double bed, wardrobe, kitchenette +fridge, a table, and two armchairs. Suitable for couples, single travelers, business travelers. Shops and restaurants can be reached by car within 5 minutes.

The cozy loft-like apartment is a separate housing unit in an old farmhouse. Equipped with kitchen, bathroom, double bed, sofa bed, dining area and desk, heated with a wood stove. Great for nature lovers, families and people looking for peace and relaxation.

Typical so-called Streckhof, over 200 years old, a granite stone building, lovingly restored, surrounded by meadows, at a pleasant distance from the neighboring houses.
