Cozy off-grid cabin in the abandoned village of Qernertivartiit, about 22 miles from Tasiilaq, beautifully situated on a hill with unparalleled views of the sea and mountains. Sleeps up to 5 people. Functional kitchen and oil-fired heating. Water must be brought along, collected from a lake, or melted from snow. The area is ideal for ice fishing in winter and whale watching in summer. Transport is an additional cost – access by boat in summer and by dog sled or snowmobile in winter. Extra cabin for larger groups.

The area offers excellent opportunities for trekking trips to Kuannit or abundant outdoor experiences in beautiful Qeqertarsuaq, also offered by the host.

The home includes 1 master bedroom with a double bed, a bed loft with 2 single beds, 1 bathroom and an open kitchen/living area. The home is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay with new appliances such as TV, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and induction stove. Last but not least the home offers a large and brand new wooden terrace with outdoor furnitures.

Denne store bolig ligger centralt og meget roligt i Ilulissat med første klasses udsigt 180 grader til ishavet. Dette stilfulde overnatningssted er perfekt til familie- og grupperejser med 3 soveværelser og en kæmpe stue. Desuden er der 100 kvm terrasse til huset med udsigt over vandet. I sommermånederne er der god sandsynlighed for at se både pukkelhvaler og finhvaler fra terrassen. Boligen ligger centralt og dog meget roligt i Ilulissat. Taxa fra lufthavnen koster omkring 120 kroner.

Min bolig er god til par, forretningsrejsende og familier (med børn). VIGTIGT: Fra 1. januar 2026 opkræves der en overnatningsafgift på 30 DKK pr. person pr. nat for gæster, der ikke er bosat i Grønland. Afgiften betales separat efter booking af huset og går til de grønlandske myndigheder. Tak for jeres forståelse!

Unnuisarfik Qeqertarsuaq

Drift off in the Up house is located on Upernaviup Aqq. B-130 A and is on the 2nd floor. The house was insulated in 2012/2013, when it also got a new kitchen, just as the toilet/bathroom was expanded. The house is fully furnished. This unique and quiet home. Qeqertarsuaq and Disko Island are known for their unique geological formations. Possibility to be picked up at the port and it's free! :) (P.S. there is no taxi or bus in the city)
