The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Darker in winter (basement), nice and cool in summer. 6 km to Freiburg main station/Münsterplatz in Freiburg, 10 min. walk to the end of the tram, from there 15 min. to Freiburg. 20 minutes by bike. Flexible key handover.

Kleines Bad mit WC und Dusche, komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Gasherd und Backofen (ohne Spülmaschine, keine Mikrowelle), Wohnzimmer mit Sofa, schnelles WiFi/WLAN, kleiner Fernseher, Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Welcome! The guest apartment (about 50 square meters) is located in the basement of our house - enough space that our guests can feel comfortable in their own area. Included in the price is the tourist tax to the municipality of Glottertal. From two nights (only for tourist stays), you will receive the KONUS card, with which you can use public transport free of charge throughout the Black Forest region, as well as free parking tickets for all P+R parking spaces in Freiburg.

Arrive and feel good

Black Forest ambience directly from the balcony awaits you in our beautiful, spacious apartment on the 1st floor of a detached house. As a starting point for activities of all kinds, the location is ideal. You can start hiking directly from the house or at the nearby stop you can climb the nearest bus to your excursion destination. For guests by car, the travel time to most of the attractions in the Black Forest is less than 45 minutes.

The "Spielberg-Lodge" is a stylish & modern furnished apartment with oak parquet and underfloor heating for max. 2 people. It has a separate entrance and is only 20 minutes by car from Freiburg in the countryside and invites you to relax. But also the big cities of Basel (Switzerland) & Strasbourg (France) are easily reached within an hour by car, as well as Europa-Park in Rust as well as the Black Forest, Vosges & Kaiserstuhl.

The cozy, newly renovated attic apartment is located on the 2nd floor. The house is right on the stream. From the balcony you can see meadows, garden, stream and Black Forest mountains. Münstertal offers many opportunities for hiking on the Belchen or Schauinsland mountains.Hiking trails right at your doorstep. Mountain biking is popular in the Black Forest. Ski lifts can be reached in less than 30 minutes.

Public transport, a bakery are nearby. 10 min. to Emmendingen city center ( bus or car), about 15 min. to Freiburg ( train or car), about 30 min. to Europa-Park in Rust ( car). There is an excavator lake nearby ( it may be bathed)

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking and skiing, Freiburg is quickly accessible, the Breisgau S-Bahn is a 10-minute walk away. Waldkirch has been awarded the "Citta Slow" distinction since 2002 and is a small town worth living in with the tradition of organ building.

You will stay in a small workshop house on the edge of the old town, Wiehre district. Due to the rear house situation, you will live very quietly but still centrally, in the middle of Freiburg. The tram stop and bike station are just 2 minutes away. The infrastructure is extremely good, all important shops are within walking distance.
