I want to inherit this old private house that has been passed down for 100 years. With such a wish, we have renovated this old private house with the cooperation of local people, craftsmen, and children. We hope you to feel and enjoy the region of Japan through the stay. 当コテージは清流、円原川のほとりにあります。 岐阜といえば白川郷や飛騨高山が有名ですが、円原も山奥で不便な場所ではありますが素敵です。 山と川の景観が美しく、猿や鹿が出没するような自然豊かな場所です。 円原川は日本一美しい伏流水、光芒の名所として注目されており、宿は伏流水の湧き水ポイントから８００ｍ程の場所に位置していますので水の透明度は抜群です。 光芒も宿から見ることが出来ます。 夏の朝、気象条件により木々の間から太陽の光が降り注ぐ幻想的な景色を見られます。 円原川の水は冷たいですが、夏に子供たちは元気に川遊びしています。 河原は気温が随分下がるので、猛暑を逃れ涼む人も。 少し下流にいくと川遊びスポットがいくつかあり、どこも水が透き通っていて美しく泳ぐのが気持ち良いです。 川の水は少し深いところではエメラルドグリーンに輝き、岩と苔の景観も素晴らしく、心が浄化されるような癒しスポットです。 宿の2階に川に面したデッキがあるので、川を眺めながらBBQしたり、川のせせらぎを聴きながらハンモックに揺られたり、テントサウナでリフレッシュしたり日常を忘れてのんびりできます。

Cozy, Clean, Convenient & quiet home in Gifu

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!

ようこそ！キャッスルビューハウスへ 中部国際空港から電車で６０分 名古屋駅から電車で３０分 最寄りの駅はShin-Unuma駅です。 駅からタクシーで５分です。 タクシー代金は約1000円です。 国宝犬山城から徒歩7分です。犬山城は日本最古の城でとても人気のあるお城です。さらに城下町には美味しいものがいっぱいなので、たくさんの人で賑わっています。 周辺には徒歩圏内でコンビニエンスストアがあります。さらには焼肉、回転寿司などのチェーン店を始め、行列のできる鰻屋さんや美味しいお店がたくさんあります。無料レンタル自転車を準備していますので、たくさんのお店に行けます。すみませんが、９歳以下の子供用自転車はありません。 最大４人まで泊まれるコンドミニアムタイプの宿泊施設です。1階部分をゲストが専用利用できます。 お部屋は高速wi-fi 、エアコン、洗濯機、冷蔵庫、掃除機、ドライヤー、電子、レンジ、電気ケトル、鍋、フライパンなど生活に必要なものが、ほとんど揃っていると思います。何かお困りのことがあれば、ホストファミリーに相談してください。できる限り対応させていただきます

"Moegi" is an old folk house lodging along the Nakasendo in Gifu. We renovated a 60-year-old, 150㎡ old private house to create a private lodging where you can relax. "Moegi" is the name of a traditional Japanese color. It was named to wish for a "good start'' and "child's growth.'' There is a playroom of approximately 32 m² for children. Don't worry if you can't go sightseeing due to rain. There are also many sightseeing spots in the area, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.

Nearby, Gifu Castle and restaurants are conveniently located, while convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

A historical old house lodge "Kusanoniwa"

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.
