The cabin's hexagonal shape and expansive windows allow the forest to step inside as well. When the cabin is quiet, you can be happy to see a roe deer, fox, or squirrel outside the window. Here, without connections and the outside world, you will be able to experience a real harmony between man and nature as well as undivided together.

Just 25 minutes from the Old Town, a quiet rest outside the city limits is available. In the house surrounded by the forest, you will be able to hide from the daily rush, listening to the sounds of the forest and birds, relaxing in the bath overlooking nature, watching the stars from the hot tub, enjoying a leisurely breakfast on the spacious terrace or reading a book in the hammock. Wild Meadow is our cherished place in the middle of a wild meadow, where Highlander cows graze around. The magic of the cottage is in the wide windows, through which you can observe the meadow and the sky. You will like it if you want to be in nature and enjoy all the seasons 100% as they are in the countryside. Since the cottage is located in a meadow, you will not be able to drive up to it. You should expect a 5-minute walk - just enough to switch your thoughts from everyday life to relaxation

This cozy apartment is fully accommodated and furnished as our family with two kids lives here in winter time. It has oak tree parquet, renovated widows, a small kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating. The sight from the windows features towers of the New Castle and the church of St. John. Apartment surrounded by two parks. The May Park (with the black swans and playground) is across the street. The Medieval castle is around the corner. Free car park is available in the yard, a nice extra.

Peaceful and very relaxed neighbours, that offer options for outdoor sports. 5 min walk on a lovely street leads to the sea : white dune, pedestrian roads and hiking trails. 5 min walk in the other direction leads to Rimi and Top grocery stores and the train station. 10 min walk to the local market every Friday.

Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Cosy holiday house in forest

Cozy holiday house LIELMEŽI located in quiet nature 60km from Riga. Great place to enjoy silence and nature far away from city noises. House has two levels. On the ground floor there is cosy living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, a small hall with a balcony and toilet. Each bedroom has two single beds that can be transformed into a double bed. Or alternatively - a double bed in each bedroom can be transformed into 2 single beds.

Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
