Our cottage

Our chalet is a place for anyone who enjoys recharging their batteries in nature – whether as a couple or in the peaceful company of friends and family. You'll find it in an oak-pine forest near Borovany in South Bohemia, in beautiful natural surroundings not far from the Novohradské Mountains. Although it may not seem like it at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the deck. There is no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time really together.

And if one pond wasn't enough for you, 100 meters to the southwest you'll find another pond in the middle of the wilderness.

A Riverside Retreat

Our private and cozy apartment blends old-world charm with essential amenities, offering a genuine taste of life in this fairy-tale riverside town. From our garden, you can view resident beavers going about their evening routines, herons fishing in the shallows, and waterfowl paddling with and against the current. This five-hundred-year-old house retains its traditional character with original architectural details and thick stone walls, while thoughtful updates ensure modern comfort.

Rodlhaus GruBÄR

Welcome to Rodlhaus GruBÄR! The wood-burning stove in the living and dining area provides cozy warmth. The very well equipped kitchen invites you to cook. From the balcony, you can look out over the nature reserve and have direct access to the large toboggan run. On the top floor you will find cozy sleeping areas. Medieval tower built in 1505 as a city fortification. Very unique experience, only few of them in the world used as accommodation. The tower was totaly renovated in summer 2016 with 21st century standards, and it's standing just 200 meters from the Cesky Krumlov castle.
