Harehytta by the river

Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outhouse and outdoor shower (only during summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking are available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. Bed linen and towels are included. Wood for the wood-burning stove is available.

Experience lovely nature at cozy farmhouse! The cabin is located by itself on the edge of the forest overlooking the whole of Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.

Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.
