There is a possibility to get from the house to the top of the city wall, where there is a small sitting area. Within walking distance, you will find many restaurants, a boulevard with beach and harbor, a cozy city center with shops and restaurants. The Dolphinarium is within walking distance. From this accommodation, you can do all kinds of activities. Free parking is included with booking.

At the park, you can enjoy a swimming pool and tennis court. There is also the possibility to cycle beautiful cycling routes or to go canoeing. Bicycles and canoes are available. Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

In a beautiful spot, floating on a raft on the quay of Camperplaats Veluwemeer, is this luxurious Safari tent - suitable for up to 2 people. The tent is equipped with a nice double bed, spacious cabinet with inventory (pan set, cooking utensils, cutlery, etc.), compact fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Simple sanitary facilities are available on the premises. There are options for SUP and boat rental, and a nice hot tub & sauna can be booked at an additional cost.
