Casa na Colina: The Long House

Casa na Colina has 2 houses on a stunning south facing ridge on the edge of The Serra do Caldeirao overlooking the village of Alportel in the historic countryside of the Algarve. Each house can accommodate 2 people and the price is for 2 people in one house. They share the pool. We are surrounded by natural landscape full of beautiful old Vineyards, Olive groves and ancient Cork Oak woods. This is what we fell in love with when we first arrived in Portugal in 2019 and bought Casa na Colina.

An outdoor covered terrace features a hanging hammock and various seating arrangements, including lounge chairs and a circular ottoman. Soft drapes frame the space, allowing natural light to filter in. A tranquil view of the saltwater pool and surrounding greenery is visible.

Cozy home with outdoor covered terrace, double bedroom with ensuite bathroom & separate toilet. Spacious living, with dining area, work desk space, sofa bed for 2 extra persons to sleep. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, 6 pit commercial stove and oven. The thick walls and air conditioning will keep you cool in the summer! In winter, it’s a comfy house with a pellet heater. We would love to welcome you in our beautiful home, 2km from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, Zavial and nicely located between Europe's most popular surf spot Sagres (10min) and touristy Lagos (20min). We are digital nomads and surfers, so the home is nicely equipped for remote workers, including nice internet (Starlink, up to 300mbps), desk, chair etc. and plenty of surf spots nearby. We completely renovated the property with Bali-styled furniture.

A sunny balcony offers a clear view of the ocean and marina, where fishing boats are visible. A potted plant adds a touch of greenery to the outdoor space, which is surrounded by railings, enhancing the inviting setting for relaxation.
