Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

AL DIECI - Como lake relaxing home

Located 100 meters from the lake and from the famous Villa Oleandra (G. Clooney’s house), in the characteristic ancient village of Laglio, there is this unique location completely renovated. Laglio is a typical lakeside spot where many houses are reached by steps, ours being one of them. The apartment, located on the ground floor of an ancient stone house from the 1500s, is ideal for a romantic couple's holiday, for a relaxing family holiday but also for lovers of nature and sports.

Beautiful lake view, free parking in the garage and private garden, fully equipped kitchen, laundry in the garage. We are halfway between Como and Bellagio. Upon arrival, you will be asked for documents for registration. Additional costs are: 1.50 euros tourist tax per person, cash only. (Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with disabilities.) (It is forbidden to charge the electric car in the apartment's garage without asking for the additional costs.)

Amore a prima vista! Appena entrati nell’appartamento, la vista superba del primo bacino del lago di Como vi conquisterà! L'ambiente, arredato con molto gusto, ha una camera da letto matrimoniale con piccolo balcone dove sorseggiare un buon aperitivo. Cucina attrezzata e salotto con divano vista lago. Parcheggio pubblico gratuito vicino a casa. Possibilità parcheggio privato a pagamento ( 10 euro al giorno, 50 euro a settimana ).
