What you'll do

Indulge in a one-of-a-kind family photo experience. I will photograph your family as you you explore Sonoma County's stunning landscape. We'll meet at Crane Creek Regional Park, which is at the base of Sonoma Mountain. It features rolling grasslands and picturesque oaks. Along the way, we’ll stop for portraits in front of the old oak trees and rolling fields of waving grass. I'll catch candid moments between you and your kids and even offer you prompts to inspire fun-loving photos. Feel free to bring snacks and have a picnic—I’ll provide a photo- worthy basket that you carry and a blanket to sit on. We will wind our way to a shady creek where the kids can make leaf boats or walk across the rocks. No worries if your kids aren't big hikers—it’s a flat walk along a wide trail and I'll bring a wagon for kids who need a break. The result will be creative photographs of an unforgettable family vacation in Sonoma County.

Hi, I'm Kate Nagle, a professional photographer and Sonoma County native with a love of Northern California’s natural beauty. I help families create special photo experiences that are playful and relaxed in Sonoma County’s exquisite outdoor settings.

I have photographed family outdoor experiences for 20 years. I am great with kids and help create an atmosphere in which families enjoy their time together while I capture their unique bond. I believe in embracing and encouraging the silly and fun side of families while they enjoy the outdoors. I love seeing the wonder and excitement when a child is allowed to run down a nature path or throw rocks in a stream. I have a permit to several regional parks in Sonoma County that allows me to take families on a guided hike while photographing them in a beautiful setting.
