What you'll do
Whichever way you journey to Glenridding you'll notice well before arrival why I live and paddle around this corner of the Lake District. The Sailing Centre's little road is right next to the bridge, opposite Sharmans shop. The first things we'll do are sort out what's needed for the trip and fit the boat to you. Doubles are used unless there are an odd number of people. This is followed by a quick brief on what to do, then it's on the water. There are miles of beautiful scenery all along Ullswater. Bays and beaches aplenty. there are certainly a few favourites of both that we'll pass but there's no set route or furthest out point. I'll show some really nice walks, camping spots and possible barbeque areas for your future travels if you decide to return to the area. If desired, hot showers await at the end of the trip.
All equipment required for a half day sea kayak trip on Ullswater
I'm lucky enough to have had the opportunity to gain 30 years of experience in Sea Kayaking around the world. Scotland, The Maldives, Greece, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, Gozo, and other places have been paddled and enjoyed. The ethos is always the same. Experience a nice day, have a chat, pass on a bit of knowledge to, and learn from, people looking for a similar venture.

Where you'll be
All trips in the Lake District take place on Ullswater, for many people, the most beautiful of the 'big' lakes. When arriving, the little road down to the Sailing centre is right next to the bridge, opposite Sharmans shop.
