About your host

I’ve been cooking since I was 12 under the tutelage of Georgia Blue, the legendary cook at my parents’ Key Cafe in Southern Alabama. While teaching abroad, I traveled to Italy and France to take cooking classes in Sorrento, Cison di Valmarin (about an hour north of Venice) and Paris. What we’ll do

Welcome We will gather in the living room with your favorite beverage and go over the menu and plan for cooking. Prepping/Cooking In teams of 2-3, we’ll see a demo and then gather & prep and then cook or bake the ingredients for each course. Upon completion of cooking each course, we’ll pause and eat in the dining room. Wine pairings will be offered. A reading from A Grateful Heart, Daily…

What else you should know

Sparkling water, filtered water, wine, and decaf and regular coffee will be on offer. Carry out containers are available upon request. We’ll use cotton and linen napkins and fine china to serve you.

What I’ll provide

Three course dinner.
Veggie main courses are available. Special dietary needs can be addressed with advance notice.
