About your host

I used to work for a walking tour company a couple of years ago, after that i lived in Australia and Canada, improved my english a lot and finished my degree in tourism. I really like history and walking, among other things. I have lived in Santiago most of my life and i know the downtown pretty good since i had the chance to be in the school in this area.

What we’ll do

We ll jump right into Santiago´s history on front of the goverment palace, La Moneda, after this we´ll walk through the streets to get to the different locations, the "infamous" Cafe con piernas, wich has a pretty weird and fun history, the Larrain Palace, Plaza de Armas, the starting point of the city, in wich we can find the Cathedral of Santiago, the post office, the old goverment palace and…

What else you should know

Bring a snack and water or any drink you want, i will provide something, but every person is different and also the weather is a factor, if it is cold i will bring hot tea, but it might not be enought

What I’ll provide

Flat mineral water
Will depend on the diet

What to bring

Sunscreen or umbrella depending on the season/day
Comfy walking shoes
A bit of money, just for a coffe and maybe something they might want to buy
