What you'll do

I will guide you through an educational walk in the vineyard to show you 5 variety of grape we grow: Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot.

Depending on the season you'll be able to learn the characteristics and peculiarities of each one of them and how we approach the everyday job: in May and June you may see "green pruning", in August and September harvesting: if you wish you can even join us!
We will then move to the cellar where I'll introduce you to the wine making and aging process; if you come in June/July you may be able to see wine bottling.

Last but not least comes the wine & oil tasting experience: we will offer 3 different labels of wine and our E.V.O. (Extra Virgin) Olive Oil

Wines
- our award-winning Rosé "San Michele n°3 Rosato" 100% Sangiovese
- a red of your choice (we have different labels)
- and our award-winning Super-Tuscan "San Michele" the blend of all the 5 grapes we grow

Oil
Our San Michele Oil is a blend of 5 different varieties: Leccio del Corno, Frantoio, Moraiolo and Pendolino: you can choose either the professional oil tasting served in a small glass or on toast.

Local products such as cheese, cured meet will be served, if you are vegetarian or have any special food requires just tell us in advance! Looking forward to share all of these with you!

After living in Beijing (China) for more than a decade, in 2013 I moved back to our property in Maremma and started this new adventure in the amazing world of wine. I like challenging myself with new experiences: I believe working in the vineyard and cellar is the foundation of our job, if you do it with passion everything will follow. I love being with people and explain what is the magic journey that happens before that glass of wine is in their hands. Qualified Pruner (Scuola Italiana di Potatura della Vite) and Sommelier AIS and wine taster ONAV. Fluent in Italian, English and Mandarin Chinese.

Our wine and olive oil tasting experience with Christina was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany! Cristina let us set up the experience with less than 24 hours notice and was extremely communicative throughout the process. When we arrived, Cristina gave us a tour of the vineyard and winery. She was personable, knew a great deal about the wine making/olive oil process, and was passionate about sharing her knowledge - all while making it fun and engaging for us. We were even able to taste wine directly from the barrels! Cristina then set up a food and wine pairing for us which was above and beyond our expectations. Cristina had curated local meats, cheeses, and bread to pair with her wine and olive oils. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tuscany! Do not hesitate to book!!

We had a wonderful tour with Cristina at her vineyard. We had a short stay in Tuscany and reached out to Cristina inquiring about a tour for the next morning despite it not being available. She quickly accommodated us and gave us a private tour of her vineyard and olive groves. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and lovely to spend a few hours with. She was extremely patient with us as well, as we had a 2.5 year old and 4 month old baby in tow. The tasting experience was beyond expectations. Informative and delicious we sampled three wines as well as their EVOO. In addition, Cristina served us a delicious spread of charcuterie which was as beautiful as it was tasty. On top of everything else, she was preparing for a large event at her property for the very next day but never rushed us. We highly recommend this experience over some of the larger estates where we feel it’s more commercial. Personal and intimate, this is not to be missed!

🇬🇧 The vineyard tour was really informative and Cristina was an amazing host. She told us about how the grapes are grown and how the wine is made. We had amazing food paired with some of their wines. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Consiglio vivamente l’intera esperienza.
