What you'll do

We will start the day with a 2 to 3 hours hike along the coastline of Trois-Rivières a mix of river and waterfall sites and ocean views! From native tribe heritage: the engraved rocks to the first colonists and slavery time: remain of an old sugar factory to a battery point, to protect the island from the enemy. A full discovery of nature and history.
We will then be ready for lunch in a local restaurant by the little port of Trois-Rivieres.
We will continue our discovery by stopping on the most beautiful black sand beach of the island, at the light house, virtual line between the caribbean sea and the atlantic ocean and we will finish our day in a warm spring, surounding by the rainforest, peaceful moment of relaxation.
Some local snacks and juices will be proposed to sustain ourselves. Coffee, tea and water are included and available in the confi van in which I will take you to the different locations.

Where you'll be

The engraved rocks of the hike are less known and visited than the one in the Archeological Park in Trois-Rivieres, I will take you out of bitten tracks.
The warm spring, well know for its pool in the shape of a heart, but we will get deaper into the rainforest, to get to the natural pool and falls.
The lighthouse, amazing point of view on Basse-Terre City and Les Saintes, it is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea connects!

This was wonderful experience! I would recommend it to anyone who likes to walk, hike and listen to the interesting stories. . Taina has that special personality which makes you feel the most important person on the Whole world. We could not do it at the opened dates and I asked Tina about other possibilities. She was flexible and adjusted her schedule to our needs! Thank you Tina! We started at 7.45 in the morning and got home tired but happy about 7 pm. We would never find the “drawing - sculptures” on the stones, warm bath or waterfalls Tina gave us “in the pill” history and lots of interesting info about the island. Lunch in the restaurant on the water was really good. And most important: Taina’s English was perfect. So- take comfortable shoes, camera, hat and enjoy! You don’t have to worry about snacks, food or water. Tina will take care of everything!

Taini is a fantastic guide! She’s knowledgeable and personable. I enjoyed learning about the history of the area from someone who has a personal connection and deep love for the island. Taini is conscious of and adjusts her pace to suit the fitness level of participants, which I really appreciated. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to visit sites “off the beaten path”.
