Not a good value for what you get. Better DIY if you want a more unique experience. Or maybe Mekong Delta is really just not that nice?? The host is so hard to reach also. There’s a note in their response that they are best reachable via mobile number and not airbnb which is crazy considering this is listed in airbnb?? And why expect all your guests to have a number to reach your local number? Not even imessage, WA, TG, Viber, nothing. Communication almost non existent.

I specifically took this tour for such a price (similar tours cost $25, just for a large group) because I thought they would not take me to "tourist shops." However, they did... Of course, not like in Turkey or Egypt. The main purpose of the trip for us was a relaxing and smooth boat trip on the Mekong Delta, but during the route (about 1 km) the driver decided to turn on the smelly and rattling diesel engine... and attach a neighboring boat😂😂 It spoiled the whole experience The food was also not very good, spring rolls and a small plate of chicken for 6 people (three of them were quite large men). In general, if you are not new to Southeast Asia and have seen how mango grows and have tried jackfruit - you definitely should not come here. However, the guide is not bad, tried to joke, but frankly did not succeed. Also, during the trip they did not provide water (even on the cheapest excursions in Egypt they provide it)

This experience was one of the highlights of my time in Vietnam. From the moment we left Ho Chi Minh City, everything was well organized, comfortable, and thoughtfully planned. Traveling with locals made the Mekong Delta feel authentic rather than touristy. Our guide Zane was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing local culture and history. We visited beautiful river canals, learned about traditional industries, and enjoyed delicious local food that felt homemade and heartfelt. Every stop offered a deeper understanding of daily life in the Delta. What truly stood out was the personal touch—small group size, meaningful interactions with locals, and plenty of time to ask questions and explore without feeling rushed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an immersive, cultural experience beyond the city.
