  • The room was as desciribed and the location is good. Only few minutes walk there's a tube station and a bus station is also not far. Unfortunately we had a horrible first night because there was a party in the living room and it was impossible to sleep. After we asked if they could turn down the music, the answer was that they could turn it down just a little bit. After that the talks got louder and the music was still on. That was the only thing which disturbed us, buit it was significant. The rest of our stay was fine!

  • Well I stayed there almost one week No water,breakfast(bread,juice,) I didn’t know they have baby (3months) Baby cry a lot obviously, Also that place wall is too thin I could heard all the noisy things (I had drama ) First day -Second day was fine Third day baby came with mom and cried a lot. Stressed out. After day they had sex really loudly So it bothered me so much. Wall was thin. Another day They are couple and had fight and suddenly women (host) knocking on the door and begged me don’t open the door to man(host). And she started packing. Finally checked out day she left home With friends when I left. Such a dramatic days Almost stayed out all day and I went there Only for sleep. Hilarious place

    The apartment is located in the East of London, between Stratford (where there's the biggest mall in Europe) and Canary Wharf. It's a residential area, quiet, with 2 metro lines connected. In 25 minutes you will arrive at the center.
    The room is equipped with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. The kitchen has an open space with the living room, two sofas, and a bathroom with shower/tub. Everything is very clean and neat 'cause we like to breathe fresh air and fragrant. Pretty simple apartment, with wooden floors.
    The district is pretty quiet and peaceful, ten minutes ride from Stratford, where you have shopping center: WESTFIELD, with every comfort! Stellar mall! And even ten minutes from Canary Wharf, a nice area, especially on sunny days where it's wonderful to walk along the river, or even better, by bicycle, with a beautiful view to London Bridge and the whole city. 5-minute ride also the new Emirates Airline, where you can surprise your partner with a cable car that will pass just above the O2 Arena, used for top international concerts and the underlying Thames.

    Beautiful modern penthouse apartment perfectly located a few minutes walk from the Excel exhibition center. The bedroom comes with a private bathroom and the balcony can be accessed directly from bedroom with AMAZING panoramic city and river views. There is paid parking in the neighbouring buildings, Perfect for visiting the ExCel. Nearby is Canary Wharf & the O2 arena. Supermarket on site, train station next to the building with easy access to the city and Stratford Westfield.
    Lovely comfortable double bed in a beautiful high floor apartment. The bedroom is a good size and has stunning views from the balcony which can be accessed directly from your room. The apartment has underfloor heating and all glass is triple glazed to stop any loud noise from the airport nearby. If it gets too warm I have placed a tower fan in the room also. The bathroom is large and comes with a shower and bathtub. Heated towel rails and some toiletries if you need them. The living room has panoramic city views with a wrap around balcony! Absolutely stunning views of the city night and day. There is a lift in the building to access the apartment. There is also a coffee shop next door and numerous restaurants a short walk away, including Thai , Italian , Indian , Lebanese and cafes for breakfast. You can also catch the river taxi which takes you on a scenic route on the river Thames to great tourist spots in London including Tower bridge , Big Ben and the London eye. The Emirates cable car river crossing is just outside that takes you to Greenwich with views of the whole city when you travel on this. Great location overall.
    Cafes , riverside , city , 02 arena (for concerts , shopping , cinema and food) restaurants , bars and supermarket on doorstep. Lots to do here .

  • Eli was an amazing host and nothing is too much for her to make you feel home and make your stay comfortable. Everything is fresh and clean: bed sheets, towels and the bathroom & the kitchen. I could easily cook my meal and wash my clothes too. Eli has a nice taste I loved the kitchen design and the fresh flowers on table. I will defenitly stay at her place again and I recomend her place for anyone who is looking for a clean room and easy access to central London as its only 2 min walk from Royal Victoria dlr station.

  • Eli is a very nice person, friendly and welcoming host. The studio is very clean and comfortable and completely equipped with everything what you may need even for a longer stay. The heating works very well and you can set the desired temperature. There is a small garden seating area where you can enjoy your drink. The location is very convenient, as it is close to the DLR train station (2min.walk), the Excel fair (7min walk), Tesco store (5min walk). We strongly recommend this accommodation for travellers who want to keep their privacy and use common household facilities during a longer stay.

The place is really comfortable and 10 min walking to the ExCel London, where I have attended an event. It’s also near to The Emirates Cable and next to a train station. The place is really quiet even if trains call there you don’t heard them. And even if the house is aside from the road, not many cars pass through there. There are many bus stops if you manage to go by bus. There is a Tesco Express at the other side of the house which is accessible by passing by the train station access. Many hotels as well if you have to attend conferences. It’s a good place to have a walk if you are in family as well.

    Beautiful, cozy, warm and comfortable lodge room in my back garden, in a private closed square 10 min walking from Royal Victoria station on DLR, 14 min. walking to West entrance of London Excel and 12 min. to Emirates Cable Car where one can cross the Thames towards O2 Arena. From my house you walk towards Royal Victoria Station, cross the station bridge to the other side and you will be in the Royal Docks where Excel is. Only hosting business people over 25+ of age. Car park available.
    This room is in my back garden, entrance from the main door house. Shared bath room and toilet room. You will be able to use the kitchen even not offering breakfast you can store your meals in my fridge. Also you can enjoy my open area in my back garden, where smokers can use as they please. Royal Victoria Docks is 10 minutes walking from my house and is a live place with many restaurants and beautiful view to the river and docks. We have a friendly dog a Pomeranian called Teddy, so if you are allergic or afraid of dogs here is not a good place as he is very affectionate.

  • Miriam is a very welcoming host (as is her dog Teddy!). Easy enough to get to from Canning Town station (took me 12 minutes at a brisk walk, 20 mins would be plenty of time), very quiet area, comfortable bed and a very good heater is provided along with extra bedding if required (it was a fairly cold night but I was warm enough) and a towel. Tea/coffee facilities are provided in the room along with a TV. Miriam provided use of the shower (which is quite powerful thanks to an additional water pump) and there is a downstairs toilet. The room is contained in the back of the garden separate to the main house but the area between the two is covered so you won't get wet if it rains. The experience was as Miriam describes, communication was excellent and Wi-Fi was provided. I had to leave early for a prior engagement so didn't stay for breakfast but I have no complaints and recommend this as a very comfortable and friendly place to stay.

  • A super accommodating , friendly host considering I turned up just before 11pm due to a late arrival into London. Decor is quirky as another traveller has described but interesting. It feels you have a very private room as it's not in the main building, it's in an annexe across from the back kitchen door. Toilet and bathroom facilities are in the main building. I had an event to attend at ExCel in the morning, so this provided me a clean, safe, convenient place to sleep. It's only a 10 minute walk away and there's the Freemasons Cafe on Freemasons Road on the way there which serves reasonably priced fry-ups if you're after a hearty breakfast. There's a super cute dog and cat too.

Great area just in a few minutes from West Silvertown station. 5min walk to Excel center, 20mins to Green Park by tube, 5mins to Canary Wharf by car. Cosy atmosphere in the house - nice neighbors - two girls professionals.
  • The location was great for ExCel and check in was efficient, how ever be aware this is a share house with other people, not just the 2 professional women as advertised . There is no en suite it is a share bathroom and no security for personal belongings, i.e you cannot lock the bedroom door. It is close to City Airport so in summer when hot very load as you need to keep the window open . I stayed 2 hours whilst i found more suitable accommodation then left for my 4 day stay so really wasted my money on this one .

Julia was not there at check in but I called her and she sent a friend with the keys Who was kind and arrived in 5 minutes. Julia sent me precise and complete information via (Hidden by Airbnb) and made sure everything was ok. I will stay here next time I'm at Excel. The only thing that I did not like is that you cannot lock your door, and since you are sleeping in a house where the host is not there and there is another room with other guests this is not top. But everything was good and the house was calm and comfortable. I recommend It.

  • Yulia is a wonderful host, her place is in a very safe, quiet neighbourhood within close walking distance to local grocery store(which opens until quite late!) and public transport. I only had a very short stay with her and was out most of the time, but having a lovely place to go back to really helped me recuperate from the event I was attending at the ExCel London! ExCel London is only around 5 minutes' walk from Yulia's house, it was super convenient. Would recommend anyone to book Yulia's place if attending conference or event at ExCel :) I myself most certainly would if I have more events at ExCel!

  • Plaaf is perfect host, very quick in communication and helpfull. Flat is super modern with everything you need - perfect equipped kitchen, wifi,2 fridges and own bathroom in every room. Only few things I didn´t like - our room smelled like after smoking cigarettes and bathroom wasn´t clean properly, not even the bathroom trash can was changed. But this is more mistake of cleaning lady I would say. Otherwise everything was perfect, easygoing and perfect location to city center. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    The apartment is the perfect location for anyone attending an event or exhibition at the Excel centre which is a couple of minutes walk from the apartment building. There are numerous local shops and restaurants to enjoy. The area is calm and quiet for a good night's sleep. You can reach the O2 Arena, through a short walk along the docks and taking the Emirates cable car over the river (10 mins ride), a must see for visitors!
  • The apartment was very clean, beautiful and in a great location. We had an amazing view over the docks which made the stay there even more exciting. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The only downside to our stay is that there was little to no hot water during our stay. There were 7 of us in total staying and only 1 of us was able to have a hot shower during the whole weekend, the rest of us had to shower in cold water. I did raise the issue with the host and he was quick to respond and send someone out which temporarily fixed the issue (the 1 hot shower) but soon after it stopped working again. We didn’t have time to wait for maintenance again so we had to endure cold showers. We also had some difficulty using the oven and dishwasher so I would recommend asking the host to show you how to use them if you are planning on using them. Other than these issues the stay was great.

The local tube station is less than 5 minutes walk from the flat which is great. The beds are comfortable which is rare for AirBNB! Constructive criticism would be the shower pressure is poor however this is such a small thing compared to all of the positives this home has to offer. I rate the flat 5* and will certainly be back.

  • This room is definitely an excellent place to stay. It is large, very clean, with a wonderful bathroom. Even towels have been provided. We stayed two nights at Peter's place and felt very comfortable. There is a mini fridge and a kettle for making tea or coffee also. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, nothing is missing. In addition to that, Peter is a perfect host. Responding immediately to your questions. As we got lost he rang us on the mobile to give us the right direction. Thanks for that again, Peter. The room is in easy reach of the tube and in about 30 minutes you're in the centre of London. This room is definitely worth to stay.... In 20 mins you get to: Tower Hill,Canary Wharf, London Bridge,Bank,Waterloo. 2 mins walk away - ExCel centre. There are Italian, Pan European, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese restaurants minutes walk away. Tesco store is downstairs, also Nisa is a minute away.

  • Firstly I should say Maria is the most welcoming host I’ve yet to meet and I’ve met quite a few! She made a point of greeting me personally, met me at the DLR station and escorted me to get apartment, and was very flexible about check in (and check out) time and spent a long time making sure I was aware of how everything worked and where everything was. Im sure she will soon be an ‘elite host’! This is her own place but she had cleared out plenty of storage space, hangers etc for my use and was happy for me to use her cooking spices, tea coffee etc etc. She also provided water, biscuits, cereal milk, eggs and fruit in case I didn’t have time to pick up breakfast on the way in. Maria was also willing to meet up with my usual (also excellent) host Emily before and after my visit to exchange the bag I keep in London. Her apartment is actually nicer and more spacious than it looks in the pictures, clean, cosy - easy to use Netflix on the TV, a very comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Very good value for money! Location is perfect - only 1 minute walk from the dlr station (visible from living room window) - a few stops from the cinema and nightlife at West India Quay - one stop from Canning Town and the fast jubilee line to central London and historic Greenwich. Taking the alternate exit to the building there is a slightly upmarket late night opening Tesco’s supermarket next to the entrance with a good range of stuff, a few nearby bars and restaurants and a few minutes walk away the emirates airline cable car - a scenic route to the O2 complex with cinema, clubs, a wide range of eateries and bars. Recommend doing this st disc as the views are wonderful. Overall an excellent place to stay - I will certainly stay with Maria whenever Emily can’t put me up!

  • Ian is a very attentive and considerate host who communicated well prior to our arrival, taking care to find out if it was a special trip, etc. Once we had arrived he responded to any queries we had about the accommodation quickly. He talked us through the minor quirks that any place has, including the warm public hallways, and nothing seemed to be too much bother. He is pleasant to talk with and made my family and me feel very welcome. This is a lovely apartment with spectacular, uninterrupted views towards the city, O2 and beyond to Greenwich. The full-length terrace was a particular bonus as the weather was fantastically sunny. The place was very clean, good-sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. We quickly relaxed and felt at home. The week spent here was enhanced a great deal by the quality of the accommodation and the location. We used the public transport system, which is so easy and efficient, to the max. We travelled to Camden, Greenwich, Stratford, Westminster and beyond in only a short time and loved the vibe around Royal Victoria Dock. We were grateful to Ian for letting us check out a little later and really wished that we could have stayed longer than we did. If we get the chance we would return here in a heartbeat.     Lovely clean master bedroom 3 minutes away from the Excel Exhibition Center and Crystal Center. And it is only 20 min from central London
    My flat is situated in the heart of the Royal Docks, the last to close from the complex of Docks from the Thames River. It is an historical part of the support to the trade for the British empire with ships coming from all over the world. It's such a great part of British history here. Today, this has of course ceased but the place had been reinventing itself into a very well put urban development where the main pool of attraction is The Excel Centre, the only cable car of London and the proximity of the airport makes it very desirable. The area is mainly animated during day time but is rather quite at night. There is few bars restaurant and breakfast places ( British, libanese, Thai, Italian ect ) a stone away from my flat. A grocery shop is open every single day from 7am until 11 pm just next door. Very convenient! Royal Victoria Dock station is just by my building. 30 second walk! This place is wonderfully linked: - The ExCel Exhibition Center ( 2 min walk) - London City Airport ( 15 min on the DLR ) - Canary Wharf ( 10min on the Tube ) - Oxford Circus / Bond Street ( 25 min on the Tube ) Activities: The cable car that goes straight to the O2 is right downstairs, by the flat Water sport activities are plenty on the dock itself

  • This is very conveniently located if you are visiting the ExCel and is about 1/3rd the price of a hotel. But note that you are just renting a room, nothing special - essentially a bed, storage and Wifi. It is a large room, 5th floor and is quiet, so if all you want to do is sleep before or after going to Excel then it is perfect. There is no access to shared areas - i.e. a kitchen for coffee (you can buy a Costa from Tesco next door) and if you are a business person then make sure you iron your clothes before arriving as there is also no access to an iron.

  • Emily was a great host! We had a perfect time together in her wonderful penthouse appartement. The view from the terrace is terrific, I just didn`t want to leave it and enjoyed some of my dinners out there... The location of the penthouse appartement was perfect for my perposes, as I attended a conference at the Excel (1 min walk away!!). The proximity to the London City Airport is even greater. Getting from the penthouse to London City and the sightseeings is absolutely no problem - there is just a DLR station around the corner where you can jump on a train every few minutes. In the beginning I stayed in a smaller room as on the pictures, which was indeed small but no problem for me. But I could change into the bigger room on the second day - and that was really as comfortable as in one of these luxury hotels. By the way - some of my collegues stayed in an hotel across the street and complained a lot about "too little space". I definitely made the better catch with Emily`s penthouse than they did with their hotel! A big room, large terrace with a terrific view, large bath room made of stone, towels and cleanlyness like in a hotel. And - a supermarket immediately downstairs in the same building. I would definite stay there again, if I was busy in that area (Excel, Greenwich, O2-Arena-Area etc...). So thank you Emily for this Airbnb-Experience!

  • Eli is such a kind and caring host! I loved to have breakfast enjoying the sun in her garden. The big room in Elis house is spacious, the bed is comfortable and there is a wardrobe and chest of drawers to put your stuff in. Her house is very close to the DLR station Royal Victoria that takes you right away to the Tower of London or to the huge shopping malls in Stratford. A short walk from her house and you can buy a food at Tesco's, enjoy the riverside or enjoy the views of the Emirates Air Line. I highly recommend Eli's place for a short or longer stay in London.

    Small double room in a nice private Britannia Village development. Flat is located on the second floor (no lift). It is a 2 bedroom place with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. In your room you have a queen bed, wardrobe and a desk if you need to work.
    It is a peaceful neighborhood near the river Thames in east London. You're a couple of minutes from the Emirates Air Line, which is a cable car over the river.It will take you to the O2 in 15 minutes. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a dining and arts facility on the peninsula. You can get there in less than 20 minutes on the DLR. Within 10 min walk is London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. It's not free, but at least you can take a dip in the water on a hot summer day. You'll also find a few wonderful cocktail lounges, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

  • Iryna's place is very convenient for Excel, you can actually see it from the window. Iryna does not live in the house, but I shared it with another guest staying in another room. This worked well and each of us had their own bathroom. There is also a well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant garden with fruit trees. A supermarket on the waterfront is a short walk away, as is the DLR station. This worked perfectly for me.

This is a warehouse beautifully converted to apartments that is a stone's throw from Excel. The space is a clean and modern flat that is ideally hidden in a docks This luxury apartment is done up to the highest standards and has all the modern conveniences including fully equipped kitchen, wattle kettle, microwave, TV, Iron, hairdryer, and all cooking utensils.
    The neighbourhood boasts several 3-4 star hotels in the area (Crown Plaza, Ibis) and is perfectly located beside the dock where you will benefit from the stunning dock that is bustling with live and character when the weather is good. It also have Tesco and Nisa supermarkets right in front of the development. There is also Japanese, Chinese, Caribbean, Mediterranean restaurant and also the Docklands bar and grill in Crown Plaza hotel if you are ever in need of food. This is a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. London City Airport is close by, so expect to get occasional noise from the Aeroplanes. But this is not much of a problem as the Airport is not a very busy one and flights are only in the day time. There are loads of restaurants and Hotels next to the Excel Exhibition centre where you can unwind whenever you are in the neighbourhood or you can hop on the Cable Car just across the river to the O2 state-of-the-art Event Centre.

Chief complaints were the lack of air conditioning and rooftop access were not available as advertised in the listing. However the host did provide fans. Overall I was pleased with the apartment, it was tidy and served its purpose quite well. The host was great and responded to emails or calls extremely quick. I’d recommend this property to anyone visiting the London area.

  • We reached the apartment during a heat wave in London and the place was extremely hot during the day. As stated in other reviews this apartment does not have AC like most apartments in London. This is not truly a necessity , unless you get unusually warm days like we did. Good news is that the hosts were super and in less than 24 hours we had a portable AC in the apartment. They were always quick to answer the messages. The apartment has a modern decor and is located in the 16th floor with awesome news. I attended a meeting at the Excel and it is only 2 blocks away. Immediately across you can get into the Emirates cable car and cross the river to the O2 and North Greenwitch underground station. Or use the Victoria docks DLR 1 block behind the building and connect to the underground system at the Canning town station. Very convenient! Also, there is a supermarket right beside the apartment. I highly recommend this place.

  • Eli's apartment is located in a nice neighborhood very close to Excel. You can reach city center quite fast too, in about 25 min. The apartment looks just like in photos being very clean, nice and cosy, being equiped with everything you need for your stay in London. Eli is very nice and very helpful if you need it. I highly recommend her for anyone who visits London. We really felt like home and we would gladly come back.

  • Eli is the perfect hostess. She is kind, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The house is spotless and the room is a good size and quiet. Towels and and a great breakfast were provided. She even allowed me to take some of it for my lunch! This property is in a fantastic location for EXCEL exhibition centre and the DLR (Royal Victoria) is a stone's throw away. She allowed me to drop my bags off early and collect my bags after check out. I would definitely recommend Eli and her rooms to anyone and I will be going back again in the future.   • Eli is an excellent host, and her house is a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I stayed for four nights, and we were very pleased with our experience. Eli is sweet and welcoming. Her house is cosy and warm, and immaculately clean. Her son was staying in the room we had originally booked, so she upgraded us without charge to the larger bedroom across the hall. A perk of staying here is that Eli runs her place more like a real bed and breakfast - she provides a light breakfast, cleans throughout the day, and is always available to help with anything you need. Also, the proximity to the DLR rail station is very useful. It's literally steps away from the front door. If you aren't attending an event at the Excel convention center, you'd probably choose a place closer to the center, but for us it was very convenient. The Excel (and the shops and restaurants nearby) are all within 5-10 minutes from the house. You can see the much more expensive Excel hotels right across the street and be very glad you've saved a lot of money that you can now spend on enjoying London! Anyway, thank you for a lovely stay, Eli. We would certainly return.

It was extremely convenient for attending a meeting at the Excel conference center, but it was also very easy to get to central London in about 20mins with the DLR station being right outside. The flat was clean and a good size for a couple and we were really comfortable. There was also a small gym in the apartment building which was great to have access to.

  • Ian is a perfect host. Always reachable by text or phone or in person as he lives in the same block. He put up with my numerous queries because I couldn't understand the thermostat settings & had questions about almost everything. I felt guilty peppering him with questions but Ian was very helping and understanding The flat itself was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen is well equipped and there are more than enough changes of towels and linen. All the appliances worked. Wifi is fast. There is a shared garden which the living room overlooks. provides a nice setting to open the doors on a sunny day and enjoy a cuppa. The location is perfect if you are attending an event at the Excel or have business at Canary Wharf. Excel has a gigantic courtyard. The flat is located practically on the edge of Excel's courtyard. Canary wharf is a short 10mins drive. If you need groceries, You have a choice to shop from a local to the left and a Tesco express to the right. The Local tube/DLR is a short walk away. We did enjoy walking along the riverside on sunny afternoons. A short walk to the Emirates cable car connects you to the O2 and Greenwich. We enjoyed Ian's hospitality & the local neighbourhood. Will always recommend a stay here.

  • Great apartment in a great location and the help, support and communication I had from Ian, from start to finish, was excellent! I booked the apartment for one night, as I had an event at the ExCel Area, which is literally at the top of the road. The apartment has underground parking too, which was a real bonus. The walk up to ExCel was barely more than a minute or so - it's literally in the doorstep. The apartment was modern and clean and had everything I needed. There is also gym and plenty of nice running / walking routes right on the doorstep. Although I didn't go out for food / drinks the night I was there, there are a number of options in the immediate vicinity. Ian was a great host - very personable and friendly, and greta communication form the moment I booked. As everything was great in the apartment, I did't need any help during my stay, but I would have felt comfortable in asking if I had needed anything. I highly recommend.

Ideal for London City Airport (2 stops away). The room has a double bed, fresh linen, towels, wardrobe and drawers, TV, central heating. A smart, clean, fresh and comfortable base for your stay in London. We have all mod cons: wi-fi internet, sky TV, washing machine, power shower, dishwasher, ironing board, etc All Welcome. Relaxed and laidback hosts (couple 50s), you're free to use our big bright kitchen (plenty of room in the large fridge to store some drinks & snacks), bathroom, 2 reception rooms and back yard (if you smoke).   • We enjoyed very much staying with Tim & Michelle. They are exactly as all reviews say, very relaxed, easy and nice persons. They made us feel at home since the first moment and made our time in London really easy and comfortable. It is a very nice experience, much better than staying in a hotel. Their house is an excellent option for those who have to work in Excel and very close to London City Airport, which for those who are noise sensitive, it is not a problem as all flights stop during the night. So it is really calm and quiet. It is also a very good location to visit London, with the DLR it is possible to go directly to Bank which is very central in less than 20 minutes. The room and bathroom are very comfortable.Tim knows the city very well and gave us really nice insider tips. We definitely recommend anyone to stay with Tim and Michelle.

Location was great for us visiting our daughter in Royal Victoria docks.   • Tim and Michelle are very welcoming to their home. It is a lovely room with great ensuit and walking distance to excel, although as excel is so big it is a bit if a trek if you're going time a hall at the far end. The lifts were out of order over the bridge when I went but that's nothing to do with Tim and Michelle obviously. The parking was also very handy and if you're ok with the walk saves you £15 a day at the venue. There is a petrol station at the top of their road and a corner shop on the way to excel which is handy for cheaper snacks than you get at the venue. I'd love to stay there again for my next trip if they have room for those dates.

  • This place turned out to be a terrible experience. When I arrived, the place was 100% unsanitary. I had business meetings to attend shortly after arriving, so I was frantically trying to message my company to find me a hotel. Every surface was filthy, it smelled awful, the sink was filled with dishes with standing water, there were bags of garbage left, there was old food left out, there was hair EVERYWHERE. There was no toilet paper, the only towels were used, and parts of the bathroom was coated in urine and fecal matter. It looked like someone had been living like an animal at the place for months on-end. I messaged the owner and he said the cleaning people had flaked on him and that he would have new cleaning people come. When I returned after my meetings, the cleaning people had come, but the place was still disgusting. There was still hair all over everything, surfaces will still grimy, the couches and chairs still had food spilled on them, the bathroom was unclean, and the place still smelled strongly of old take-away food. I had to leave the windows completely open for my entire stay, which made it cold, but it was the only way to make the smell tolerable. There was no hot water in the evenings, which was bad since I had traveled for 26 hours internationally to get their, and really needed a shower! It also appears as the apartment building does not allow Airbnb (there are postings in the porter's office), which made me feel like I was breaking the rules. The wifi network referenced in the binder at the place did not exist, which was a big problem since I was on a business trip requiring me to be online in the evenings. Things were so bad I took pictures of everything and will be attempt to contact Airbnb to see what can be done.
