Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Short distance to the surfing beaches Hoddevik and Ervik and 15 km to Vestkapp with café and panoramic views. Enjoy nature and beaches in the area. In the evening deer and hedgehogs might show up just outside the terrace as you watch the sun go down. Within a 30 minutes drive you can find plenty of possibilities to experience the Norwegian nature with cute puffins, exciting trails, deep fjords and the rough ocean. Our home is the perfect place to make your dream come true!

Cozy Fjord Cabin by Mt. Hornelen

If you need to relax, this cabin, in natural surroundings is perfect for you! The name of the cabin is "Urastova". On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.

Strandro

Here you have the house to yourself. This house is one of the oldest in the village, and has an older decor. The house has its habits and tricks. Smoking only allowed outdoors. To rinse wetsuits, there is cold water at the back of the service building below the church. Wetsuits can be hung to dry inside the garage. There's no way to put on too much heat without the fuses going off. NRK 1, 2 and 3 are the only TV channels, and there is a radio in the living room.

The apartments are beautifully located right on the waterfront and have sea view from all rooms. There are good opportunities for swimming and/or fishing just outside the door. The outdoor area appears to be untouched and is located close to Fru Inga restaurant. If you are lucky, you can experience animals that live in and by the sea up close during your stay. Among other things, it is possible to meet otters, sea eagles, whales, and seabirds.

This is a beautiful village with extreme weather, spectacular nature, friendly locals and farmers. Summer season can be busy with visitors and farming life.
