The cabin is large, spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, by skis and by bike. There is a possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes).

Cozy family friendly cabin at Hovden cabin field in Engerdal with views of the lake mountains. The cabin has a large fenced terrace with garden furniture, awning and gas grill in addition to the barbecue area with benches and fire pit on the upper side of the cabin. Rented to adult tenants are welcome to families with children. Dogs allow if it is washed and vacuumed well on departure. Final cleaning can be ordered for NOK 1,800. THE BATHROOM IS SEPARATE AND LOCATED IN THE MAIN HOUSE 90 METERS ABOVE. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER, BUT A FULL WATER CAN IS PROVIDED UPON ARRIVAL. IF NEEDED, REFILL THE TAP AT THE GUEST BATH. FISHING RIGHTS & POSSIBILITY TO RENT A BOAT BY APPOINTMENT. SUN FROM MORNING TO EVENING, WHEN IT COMES. THERE IS ONLY A CERAMIC STOVE TOP IN THE RORBUA.

Quiet forests, clear lakes, water, electricity, heating, WiFi and bedding are included. Electric cars can be charged, and a washer-dryer can be used for a fee.
