A perfect starting point for mountain hikes/top hikes, fishing, hunting and berry picking. Nice swimming facilities in the river. If you want shorter trips, there are trails and fishing waters nearby. The cabin is sheltered, about 100 meters from the farm and has entered electricity but no running water in. Water can be collected outside at the main residence. There is wood burning in the cabin. Outhouse in the extension/wood stall. Good mobile/4G coverage.

Swimming in Damtjenna(about 350m), hike up to Gapahuken at Gjøversaltjenna (about 1.5 km road/path) or summit trip to Gjøversalen at 664moH (partial path) In the winter there are nice ski slopes right outside the cabin.(ski track,no) The entire plot is fenced which makes it convenient to dog. There is a toll road with automatic sign reading up to the cabin, but 1 car can be included in the rent if you send registration number in advance.
