Wonderful year-round accommodation. Close to nature with wildlife, forest walks and silence. You'll love our place because of the neighborhood and the outdoor space. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Welcome to stay in your own apartment here at the manor from 1893 Here you live close to nature with bike trails and a stone's throw from Norsälven where you can fish, salmon, trout and pike-perch. More information about what to do in beautiful Värmland can be found at Visit Värmland. If you want a little pulse, Karlstad city center is only a 15 minute drive away with restaurants and shopping. Coop grocery store is 8 minutes away by car. Bikes are available. Note the railway goes directly outside, however, it is a bit busy.

The apartment is located in Lorensberg, a calm and friendly neighbourhood with walking distance to both the city centre and campus, and is perfect for the busy tourist as well as a new student at the booming Karlstad University. The house used to be home to multiple families, and so the apartment comes fully equiped with a kitchen as well as a private bathroom and is closed off from the rest of the house with it’s own entrance. No smoking.
