The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. In nearby towns of Borken and Frielendorf (approx. 6 km), you will find all the major supermarkets and restaurants. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to slow down. We look forward to welcoming you!

Enjoy the hikes in the national park, refresh yourself at the many accessible springs, swim in the beautiful Edersee, visit pretty towns like Bad Wildungen and ....

In addition to its ideal starting point for hiking (Uplandsteig), cycling and excursions to the beautiful region, it is only a few kilometers away from the Willingen ski area. Dogs are welcome! The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burgwald and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or make beautiful trips to Marburg or the nearby Edersee from here. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You can also start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.

The apartment (45 m²) has one bedroom, living room with sofa bed and dining table, bathroom with shower and kitchenette. Kitchen equipment is suitable for preparing breakfast and smaller food.
