Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

Surprisingly peaceful but within walking distance of cafes, bakeries, shops and market. Local activities include the Rejallant Canoeing Centre.

The cottage is located in Caunay in the south of Deux-Sèvres, with quick access to the N10: - Futuroscope (45 minutes) - Marais Poitevin (1 hour) - Angoulême (45 min) - La Rochelle (1.5 hours) As well as many walks and tours (parks, castles, etc.)

The accommodation is located on the first floor of a house in Colombage which dates from the 15th century (one of the oldest houses in Ruffec), on a very quiet street in the heart of the city center. Ideal for taking a stopover or visiting the beautiful villages around Ruffec. It has been fully renovated (decoration being finished). Free parking possible in the city center or on a street below.
