Collesano is a cute small town with genuine local restaurants and warm people nestled in the mountains at Le Madonie Natural Park and really close to Cefalù. The perfect getaway off the beaten track, away from all the touristic hustle but close enough to visit all historical and natural spots, you won't find a gem like this in northern Sicily where you can actually park next to the house. I have personally chosen this village after a motorcycle trip around Sicily from Malta.

Surrounded by nature, surrounded by olive trees, near the Parque delle Madonie, the view of the rock of Cefalù and the islands of the Aeolian archipelago will enchant you at all times of the day with a change of colors, from the light blue of the morning to the red fire of the sunset to the starry blue of the night.

Welcome to the Sicilian countryside! Here you live quietly and peacefully outside a small mountain village in the Madonie nature park area on Sicily's northern coast. Nice hiking trails are in the mountains nearby and by car you can reach the sea in about 20 minutes. Here you can enjoy the genuine Sicily without tourism with fantastic food, nature and atmosphere.
