Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.

Our home is on the outskirts of Warminster with rural views, we are 1 mile from Center Parcs and 2 miles from Longleat, easy access to Salisbury, Bath & Frome. A family bathroom. Breakfast included. A dining area, TV, DVD, use of the garden. And we have a Labrador dog.

Shepherds Hut close to Stonehenge

A light and airy spacious Shepherds hut set in a beautiful English garden adjacent to a paddock. Great for a couple wanting to get away for a short break in the countryside and ideal for visiting Stonehenge 15 mins. by car, Bath 50mins. and Salisbury 25 mins. A good stop over point for cyclists on the King Alfred’s way route. The friendly village of Tilshead is located at the heart of Salisbury Plain. Excellent Italian food available at the Rose and Crown Pub 50 yards walk away.

It is a private part of Foxholes House which dates back to the early 1700s and was once part of the Longleat Estate (The Marquess of Baths’ crest remains on the wall in the main part of the house). 1 double bedroom (extra single bed available on request) with a private entrance. It stands in a courtyard behind gates which open onto a quiet road that leads to The Ridgeway and Salisbury Plain. There is off street parking in the courtyard which is part of a walled garden. The village is especially well provided with a range of shops including a Chemist, Butcher, Post Office and a Co-op which is open until 10.00pm. There is a Pub and two good take-away outlets.
