The Buried House (La Casa Enterrada)

The "buried house" is the second project of the new touristic center called "Centinela de Matanzas". The name of the house comes from its exclusive design, It was built underground in a natural ravine to find a balance between the view of the sea and its surroundings, visually polluting as little as possible. The "burried house" has 110 square meters built on two floors embedded in a natural ravine and a terrace of 50 square meters above at 100 meters over the sea level.

There is native and sclerophyll forest and you will find a wonderful place that has stunning views of Cajón del Maipo Valley. Relax in this quiet, stylish space. Nestled in a native forest in the Ríos region, it is carefully built into the forest so you can soak up the natural energy of the surroundings. It is also located close to hot springs, Vergara Geométricas (9 km/6 miles), Rincón (11 km/7 miles), Playa Coñaripe (9 km/6 miles), Villarrica National Park (14 km/9 miles), and many other places of great natural value.
