From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle calms down, and it is a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. A tiny house and herbal retreat surrounded by the rich nature of Shinshu. You can freely use more than 80 kinds of medicinal herbs to heal your mind and body with herbal tea and herbal baths. In the living room with a wood-burning stove, you can read or have tea while surrounded by the warmth of the fire. There is a fire pit and pizza oven in the garden, where you can enjoy a campfire and homemade pizza. Outside the window is "Bingshi no Sato Park" with seasonal views. Enjoy picnics, morning walks, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in the lawn plaza. You can bring your pets and stroll through nature together. A hot spring with a view is a 1-minute drive away, and there are many local hot springs within a 10-minute drive. If you stretch your legs a little, you can also visit Ueda Castle, Seikogen, and the Power Spot tour. Bedding includes 1 double bed in the loft (single futon can be added on request), 1 double futon bed in the first floor tatami space, and a single bed on the couch sofa. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
