Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

This house is ideal for families, mountain walkers, cycling, fishing enthusiasts, golfers and surfers. Falcarragh is a Gaeltacht (Gaelic speaking) town. There are a number of lively pubs where guests can enjoy a great pint of Guinness, good food, live music and a friendly welcome.

We have breath taking views right from the doorstep, in a very scenic part of the countryside. We are just a short drive from Dunfanaghy with a number of beaches near by. Located just outside the village of Gortahork it boasts stunning sea and mountain views. Local attractions include numerous beautiful beaches including Magaheroarty (five minutes drive away) Boat trips to innishboffin and Tory Islands. Surf school, kayaking, sea angling……. Other activities include walking trails to suit all abilities

Donegal Mountain Lodge

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

The cottage has 1 bedroom with double bed , living room/kitchen with stove fire, the sofa is a sofa bed also. cottage has central heating also
