A house that "flies" over the sea

A house that "flies" over the sea. Salinetas beach, Gran Canaria. Architecture and nature come together in this amazing house literally hanging over the sea, in a privileged location on the east coast of Gran Canaria. The building "flies" over the rocks visually plunging into the sea and giving you the feeling of sailing on a boat on the clear waters of the Atlantic. Sleeping rocked by the sound of the waves, or watch, without leaving the bed, the sun reflected in the sea at dawn; dine on the terrace by moonlight feeling the caress of the breeze ... are unforgettable experiences that this house guarantees. The house is very bright and faces the sea. The terrace of the living room has a dining table with room for six people, and the master bedroom terrace has a hammock for sunbathing, relax and enjoy the view or just reading a good book. And how far is the beach? Well, just beside the house! Just open the door and you can go down to the beach or to the rocky surfaces located under the house, with magnificent natural platforms for sunbathing and spectacular “charcones” studded with small marine life. Salinetas is a quiet beach where you can relax, rest, practice water sports, cycling, hiking, all in a very unique and familiar. To the north, a pedestrian maritime promenade connects with the beaches of Melenara , Taliarte , “Playa del Hombre” and “La Garita”. The Promenade features restaurants and terraces where you can taste the cuisine of the area, including the highly recommended "gofio escaldado" or the "papas con mojo”. “Playa del Hombre” is one of the most suitable beaches on the island for surfing. To the south you'll find small coves like “Silva” or “Aguadulce”, or the incredible fishing village of “Tufia”, with its cave houses and its archaeological site, remains of pre-hispanic inhabitants of the island. A little further south, the seaside village of “Ojos de Garza”, the vast bay of “Gando”, and the beaches of “El Cabrón” and “Arinaga”, whose seabed is considered the best in Spain for diving. "Las Clavellinas", the town where the house is integrated has little shops and supermarkets. By car or taking the bus, at a short distance from the house, you can be reached within 5 minutes to the largest shopping and leisure areas of the island, the golf course of “El Cortijo” and the airport itself. The access time to Telde´s historic core is about 10 minutes, 15 to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, capital of the island, and about 30 to Maspalomas. Luxury villa with jacuzzi, views & bright design

We were very doubtful about where to establish our residence, if by the Atlantic swells or rather by the coniferous forest on the skirts of Teide. Being fanatics of nature and sports, no matter if it's trekking, cycling, paragliding, golf or windsurfing we decided we would rather stick to the middle road, and in our search we bumped into San Miguel, a charming small town, away from the hustle and off the beaten track, still all amenities a short walk away. We surely found the perfect balance.

Three light flooded bedrooms with big windows and all of them with access to terrace or balconies. Open living and kitchen area, a partly roofed terrace with a big table and seaview. Upstairs two big balconies with sofas and a hammock to sun bathe on or chill out-and maybe to sleep outside under a sky full of stars.

Beautiful rural house located in lovely surroundings in La Atalaya de Santa Brigida, next to the golf course of Bandama and ideal for walkers and nature lovers, to escape with family, with friends or family. You also have access to the shared pool that is situated about 150 meters from the house. Supermarkets, shops, and a golf course are close of the Villa. Is recommendable to rent a car to get to both the town and for touring the island, because the bus service is reduced.
