The house is located right by the sea in Nykvåg, which is an old fishing village out in the sea gap. It is possible to fish in the sea and in fresh water. Nice hiking terrain for those who like to hike in the mountains and fields when you want. Here you can climb mountain peaks that surround Nykvåg. At the same time just enjoy and hear and feel the calmness in a quiet and great place Here you can see the northern lights in the sky on fine dark autumn and winter evenings. In the summer you can enjoy the midnight sun and see the sun go down in the sea. Nearest shop 10 km away

Welcome to Farmorhuset in Nykvåg, in the middle of beautiful Vesterålen. This house, which I have inherited from my father, has soul, history and charm, and we have proudly retained the name "Farmorhuset" (Grandmother's house) that many of our guests know and appreciate. The house was built in 1954 and combines nostalgic 50s style with today's amenities for a comfortable and cozy stay. We have 3 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, which makes the house perfect for both small families and groups of friends.

Enjoy a memorable stay in this unique place. The row house is located on the edge of the sea with an amazing sea view over the sea. The coastal trail in Bø i Vesterålen, hike out to the Atlantic Ocean along the open sea past lanterns and under steep West Target mountains. Sortland is 45 min drive from cabin. Skagen airport 1 1/2 hour drive away. Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes is 3 hours drive away. The cabin has two bedrooms and a home, TV, fully equipped kitchen. The space is a unique gem.

This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, fireplace and an exclusive sauna. Our cosy countryside cabin is for rent. The cabin lays in a farmyard with great view over lovely farmland and lake. It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.
