We will meet in the graffiti heart of Berne next to the lively Wylerbad at the Graffiti and Youth Center at Scheibenstrasse 64 in 3014 Bern. I will share classic street art history, rare insider knowledge about both Bernes graffiti and mural scene as well as locations, buildings, streets, spaces and historical contexts that will bring you closer to the entire subculture in a unique way. Then we will take up pencils, paint pens, spray cans, stencils, brushes and acrylic paints ourselves. So you can let off steam creatively on your own wall or even canvas and will be guided by me little by little through a professional street art workshop. From a pencil sketch as a template on paper to your own mural with the help of various spray cans, special caps, acrylic paints, brushes and stencils, I will show you every step in detail and accompany you step by step. There is also the opportunity to take home materials such as spray cans, paints and brushes to continue practicing on your own masterpiece. My hometown Bern has a very walkable old town which is a UNESCO world heritage site. We will explore the city on a one hour power walk. You will get a great overview of what Bern has to offer seeing the most scenic and important sites. You will see great places to take pictures, visit all the must see attractions, see where locals like to be And hear what it is like to live and work in the Swiss capital. It involves uphill walking and you should feel comfortable to climb stairs as well. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

I know Bern, the capital of Switzerland, inside and out. It is a wonderful city with a lot of charm and there is really a lot to discover. This is also the reason why I would like to show the guests the absolute TOP sights of the capital: On foot we explore the beautiful old town and visit the Cage-Tower, the magnificent Bundeshaus (our parliament), watch the computer-controlled water-fountain, walk over a 40m high bridge (Kirchenfeldbrücke) with a fantastic view, admire the Zytglocken-Tower with the impressive Bell-Play, the impressive church (the Münster cathedral), the former poor quarter of Bern, the Bear-Pit (where real bears live), the Aare (this is the river that flows around the city), the Tramdepot (a restaurant where you can drink a variety of different beers) and maybe, if we still have time, the Rosengarden (a big park with lots of flowers and roses and a fantastic view of Bern)! But that's not all: As a "Bern expert" I know many mysterious places and stories like nobody else...read on! Other things to note Good shoes (e.g. sneakers. NO flip-flops), because we walk approximately 3 km. Sun protection (hat and sun cream). Rain protection.

If you too like to get to know new places while running, you will like my sporty sightseeing tour in and around Bern. Your stamina will be rewarded with wonderful views and different perspectives on Bern. The tour starts in the center of Bern and takes us through cobbled streets past the most important sights over the most beautiful bridges to the most beautiful views and along the river Aare into nature, which is within reach from anywhere in Bern. The highest point of our tour will be one of our local mountains (Gurten, Bantiger or Ulmiz) from where we will have a wonderful panoramic view to Bern and the Alps which probably will be difficult to leave again. However, in summer maybe the prospect of jumping into the cool water of the Aare or a refreshing ice cream will help and in winter hot chestnuts? Prepare for a distance of around 15 km and 500 m elevation gain. Other things to note We will take it easy and stop again and again to enjoy, to chat and to take pictures of the beautiful places in and around Bern. Unfortunately there are no changing rooms or lockers for luggage. Please appear directly in your running clothes.

You’ll learn about Bern in a nutshell, the history, local lifestyle and modern transformation of the city of Bern, in this private walking tour. During our 1-1 1/2 hour walk you will learn about Switzerland’s capital, learning about local politics and lifestyle. Our tour starts at Bern Bahnhof, learning about the history of the station as well as the Heiliggeistkirche, the church of the Holy Ghost. We will then walk through the old town of Bern stopping at the famous Bärenplatz and Bundeshaus. Following a brief history of Swiss government we continue on our way through town visiting other local attractions including the famous clock tower, Einstein’s apartment, and the Bern Cathedral the tallest cathedral in Switzerland. We will visit some of the more famous fountains along the way stopping for a drink of water if you need one, bring your own water bottle and fill right up at the fountains. We will continue on to the oldest church in Bern, cross the Aare River and finish at the Barengraben and BarenPark. Just a glimpse of the beautiful city I will leave you with tips on the best views and must see museums and landmarks. Other things to note This is a walking tour and as such we do quite a bit of walking please wear appropriate footwear the tour is about 2 km. The weather in Bern is often all seasons in one day I recommend bringing a light jacket even in the summer months, and a warm coat during the months of October to March.
