A five-star rated breathtaking place just outside the colonial village Barichara. Well connected by car or tuktuk (10 minutes) or a 45 min hike to the centre of Barichara. This one of a kind house is newly built, using a blend of traditional Colombian techniques (tapia pisada) and Dutch design. This results in a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. It offers two separate private bed- and bathrooms, whereas the living area is semi-open offering a stunning view over the valley and the Andes.

Cuenta con dos casas, en una encontraras el cuarto principal con su hamaca y en la otra la cocina. El baño es al aire libre lo que hace la experiencia única. Vista hacia el pueblo, dotado sin TV, especial para compartir en tranquilidad y desconectar. Importante: Solo hay una cama, y otra inflable sencilla. Apto para llegar en mototaxi, 4x4 o un carro alto fuerte, debido a que es campo.

Our cabin is a perfect retreat for those looking for a quiet rest and an escape from the daily routine without straying too far from the city. Located in a stunning mountain setting, it gives you the opportunity to disconnect and reconnect with nature in a cozy atmosphere. We have a room with a queen-size bed, TV, private bathroom with bathtub and hot water, kitchen, refrigerator and minibar, sofa bed, catamaran hammock, parking, Wi-Fi, heating, sound system, and board games.

Casa El Umbral is located on the outskirts of Barichara, in a quiet and safe area. An elegant, fresh and bright space with a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor dining room overlooking the Serranía de los Yarigüíes and a dreamy outdoor shower. The shade is provided by an old mango tree that stands on a large terrace. It is 5 km from the village, a 15-minute drive. You'll find animals like birds, insects, and amphibians. An ideal place to relax as a couple.

Tocagua is a set of three holiday homes with capacity to accommodate between 2 and 5 people. Tocagua 2 has one of the bedrooms with more local charm: its imposing stone wall evokes the essence of Barichara. It has a spacious bedroom with king-size bed, ideal for couples. However, it has been suitable with two nest beds and a sofa bed, to receive up to five guests. We have two additional houses on the property to accommodate larger groups.
