Welcome to Sítio Porto Taigun, a spacious, quiet property in nature and with a unique history, on the banks of the João de Tiba River in Santo André, Bahia. Our property, one of the oldest in the village, is named after the sailboat that brought the couple Jürgen and Ana Lúcia to the then small village of Santo André in the early 1980s. This special place was carefully selected to become both the couple's new home and a port for the vessel. Hence the name: Porto Taigun.

Our accommodation has a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. The living room is spacious and open concept, with a small table for dining. The accommodation has a hammock for resting outside the house, enjoying the sea breeze. If guests want to sunbathe or have a happy hour for two or three, the roof of the guest house is open to visitors. We provide bed linen, however, we DO NOT provide bath linen (towels).

Our accommodation is situated between the sea and the river, which carries freshwater. The house is spacious and cozy, has a nice garden, lots of hammocks to relax and a wonderful view of the sunset from the above veranda. Our Cafofo is an independent chalet for up to 4 people that has a private bathroom, a separate entrance to the house, a kitchen with utensils, a laundry room and a backyard. We are located in the heart of the village of Santo André; close to markets, restaurants and 300 meters from the beach. We have several recommendations for leisure and tours in the region.

Cozy little house, recently built, on grassy and wooded land, with fruit trees and ornamental plants. It has a bedroom downstairs and a very nice mezzanine, with a spacious and shaded outdoor deck.
