Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential building. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborga, historic Varnhem or thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Comfortable holiday home with that little something extra. Close to swimming area, beautiful nature, golf course, Skövde and Skara Sommarland. The layout of the house is open and airy. The modern kitchen and inviting living room are situated in the open part of the house with an outstanding ceiling height. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide) and a toilet with shower. With a step ladder, you get up to the cozy sleeping loft that is equipped with two adjacent 90cm beds. Warmly welcome.

There is access to a large garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue Trampoline, playhouse and barbecue area in the forest if you want. There is a very nice bathroom with shower and toilet. Newly built Attefall house with the absolute best location on the longest lake in the Nordic region and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a cove that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are brought yourself, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a fund and with the beautiful plain that spreads out around Borghamn. Do not forget to walk along the viewpoint and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is close to the National Nature Park Tiveden, where you can enjoy beautiful walks. Or visit in Karlsborg the fortress, minigolf, the Göta Canal or Forsvik Bruk where you can see 600 years of Swedish industrial history.

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Cozy decorated mill from the early 1800s

Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher induction stove, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room is a smart tv. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with wifi, amplifier,Chromecast, speaker system, and projector. The shower is in the basement. The terrace facing the sheep garden has garden furniture and spa swimming. Wood stove in the kitchen.Bastu is available.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
